Jing Mai Pu'er Raw Tea (250g)
Jingmai tea area is located in Lancang County, southwest of present-day Pu'er City, adjacent to Menghai County in the southern part of Xishuangbanna Prefecture. It is one of the two small and medium-sized tea-producing areas of Yunnan's "Zhongshan" and "Xiaoshan" tea varieties. The entire ancient tea garden covers an area of 28,000 acres, with an actual tea tree picking area of 12,000 acres. It is planted by the Bulang ethnic group and has the largest contiguous area among all ancient tea gardens in Yunnan, which is quite spectacular.
The Bulang people have lived here for more than 1,300 years. The ecological environment here is very good, and tea trees and native ancient trees on the mountain grow together. This mixed growth forms the prominent fragrance of Jingmai tea, with a strong mountainous atmosphere. It is one of the most prominent ancient teas in terms of the wild and rustic taste of arbor tree tea, and also has a strong and lasting orchid fragrance. Because these tea trees are very old, they all appear weathered and contain a lot of moss, vines, wild mushrooms, and many parasitic orchids on their branches. There is also a parasitic creature that looks like a crab called "pangxie jiao" on the branches. The pure material raw tea made by hand using fresh leaves from the Jingmai ancient tea trees has the following characteristics: fine and tight strips, green color, unique high-pitched floral and honey fragrance, refreshing and mild taste, quick and lasting aftertaste, and slightly astringent tongue. It is a rare treasure among Pu'er teas.
